About us

The Association Silesian Center for Education and Reablement „Arteria” came to life in 2003.

As an NGO it supports people with intellectual disabilities, their families, and senior citizens. Its actions are directed as well towards environments exposed to social exclusion. The association “Arteria” has been granted the Public benefit organization
in 2012.
The association provides systemic support in forms of expert help, education, social and professional reablement.

Our goal is to act in order to level chances of the intellectually challenged by:

  • Providing support in using and navigating through the social tissue, various forms of social life, and supporting their professional activation.
  • Helping in accessing reablement treatment, education, and care.
  • Participating in cultural events and leisure time pursuits.
  • Providing support in the process of integrating with open environment and also in an independent existence.

We do our best to realize projects that respond to the needs of our charges and people we support.
